Woman Fired for John Kerry Bumper Sticker Hired by Kerry Campaign

Lynn Gobbel of Moulton, Alabama was fired by her pro-republican boss for refusing to take a Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker off of her personal vehicle. Ms. Gobbel was called into the office of her employer, Phil Gaddis, shouted at told to remove the sticker and, when she refused, was told to get out. Later her supervisor came to her and told she was fired because she could "...either work for him or John Kerry."

John Kerry found out about the story and called Ms. Gobbel personally and offered her a job. Kerry told her, "Let him know that as of today, you're working for John Kerry."

What kind of domineering asshole is Phil Gaddis? The kind that would put a flier into all of his employee's paycheck envelopes that read:

"Just so you will know, because of the Bush tax (cut):
I was able to buy the new Hammer Mill
I was able to finance our receivables
I was able to get the new CAT skid steer
I was able to get the wire cutter
I was able to give you a job"

and then fire someone for having the temerity to express their own political views in the parking lot, on her own car.

The message to working people is; the tax break was great for your rich boss so if you want a job, you better vote for Bush, like I tell you to. NOW GET BACK TO WORK OR YOU'RE FIRED!
